Ultimately our goal is to leave every site more environmental stable than how we found it. To achieve that goal, EMG approaches each environmental challenge focused on four objectives: contain, clarify, remove, and restore. The objectives promote methodical, sensible steps to achieve the results we expect and our clients deserve.

Contain. The first step is containment and reducing exposure. Every effort is made to minimize the spread of contamination, prevent any further damage, and limit who and what comes in contact with hazards.

Clarify. Once contained, the next step is defining the work needed and delineating suspect contamination. Clarifying the scope of work provides the information to engineer the most feasible, efficient remediation.

Remove. This involves the hands-on, hard work to tackle the cleanup and removal of contamination and waste. Work is methodical, efficient, and professional.

Restore. Once the contamination is nullified or addressed, efforts are made to improve the site and prevent an issue from reoccurring. Where necessary, we install monitoring systems to check progress, ventilation systems to improve decontamination, or construct drainage systems to prevent continued infiltration. We re-insulate, re-grade, rebuild, and replant…, backfill, sweep, vacuum, and wipe…, to ensure the site is better than we found it. EMG validates environmental compliance and assures the results we expect.
